I like to serve these with a pile of Jatz for a nostalgic touch.
Any dip thats served fridge cold or at room temperature is a terrific starter thats mobile-friendly!
Filled with antipasto goodness inside! Salami is the secret ingredient that makes this so good.
As for how to keep everybodys favouriteguacamolegreen?
Just cover the surface with a thin layer of olive oil or water.
Cucumber with smoked salmon mousse
Excellent low-carb option thats a little bit fancy and is fully prepare-ahead.
Pipe on demand its super quick!
Top with honey or maple syrup for a killer flavour combination.
Dunk with crostini (homemadeor store bought) or other sturdy crackers.
Dunk and prepare to swoon.
The nice thing is the sauces can be made days in advance.
Christmas Glazed Chicken

Using bone-in thighs ensures they are still juicy the next day.
Just reheat in the microwave followed by 5 minutes in the oven to resurrect that sticky glaze!
Christmas Glazed Ham!
One of my top tips tomake Christmas cooking easier, find thedirections here.
It just doesnt seem to hold in juices as well as other meats.
This is generally speaking, of course, because theres always exceptions to the rule.
Served with a homemade BBQ sauce that everybody loves!
Christmas Baked Salmon (reader favourite!)
Assemble the salmon wrapped in paper and foil ready to bake the next day.
Make the creamy dill sauce and the nut-dried-fruit tapenade.

I know I know, we all want that awesome crackling on Christmas Day!
Thecrispy crackling pork bellyandcrackling pork roastare big favourites around here over the Christmas period!
But sadly, they are not ideal for making ahead.
The whole thing in the oven to reheat = burnt crackling.
Separate crackling from flesh = doesnt present as nicely risky to remove in once piece.
As with roast pork, I find that roast beef just doesnt reheat perfectly!
For thebest roast beef, look no further thanstanding rib / prime rib.
If youre looking for a great economical version, use myroast beef marinade(adds flavour and tenderises).
Let me tell you, that was on my schedule to share for this Christmas.
But Im a little pressed for time right now so I cant fit it in!!!
Next year, I promise.
I have so many tips and so many sauces to share!

Named as such because you’ve got the option to make it as long as you want!

Another big Aussie favourite!
Bake it the night before because its best left overnight in the oven.
Store in an airtight container then assemble just prior to serving.
