They work by improving the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain.

They are typically prescribed to treat moderate or severe cases of depression.

Therapy

Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, can help treat depression.

It is neither a character flaw nor a weakness, and can happen to anyone.
