And if were not careful, those emotions can lead to poor decisions if we dont manage them well.
We all have certain things we do to cope withuncomfortable emotions.
You might pick up your phone to ward off boredom.
Or you might eatwhen you feel lonely.
But, those same coping skills can easily introduce bigger problems into our lives.
Fromdrawingto running, there are many healthy ways you’ve got the option to manage your emotions.
The goal isnt to make uncomfortable emotions go away altogether though.
The goal is to reduce them enough that you might think clearly.
Then, you might make healthier decisions for yourself.
