Its sold frozen and fresh (fridge section of supermarkets).
Phyllo pastry is like a single one of those thin flaky layers in puff pastry.
People seem to have alove/hate relationshipwith Phyllo pastry.
The love part usually being the consumption of anything made with Phyllo.
The hate part usually the making part.
Theproblem most people haveis that the pastry dries out so it crumbles when you attempt to use it.
Its frustrating and theres no way to salvage it once that happens.
Dont slap it around like a slice of ham!
Alternate with layers of phyllo pastry, brushingevery sheet with butter, and walnuts.Its like making lasagne!
Cut into diamonds, bake, pour over honey lemon syrup.
Lets focus on the task on hand here!
But if you keep yourphyllo pastry covered,its good for up to 2 hours.
Sometimes just one of these, sometimes a combination.
It sizzles and crackles and its just an all round satisfying experience!

!Firstly, running out of nuts is a good indicator that youre on the last layer.
